As a key member of our team, the Coordinator - Logistics Clinical Services is responsible for supporting the two Clinical Services departments (CAS and PAT) with respect to maintaining supplies and equipment required for those operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage inventory, supplies and equipment for the Clinical Services Department.
  • Maintain equipment and perform periodic cleaning and maintenance on all equipment.
  • Responsible for all machine, supply and inventory paperwork and documentation as per SOP and QRA guidelines.
  • Ensure the timely delivery and pick up of equipment and the maintenance of proper supply levels at all hospital customers as well as fixed site locations.
  • Mandatory on call rotation to support the 365 day a year operation of the Clinical Services department.
  • Oversee relationship with all vendors and delivery personnel.
  • Provide positive customer service to all internal and external customers. Position includes daily interaction with Clinical Services staff, medical and nursing staff, vendor and internal NYBC staff. Interact positively in a professional and cooperative manner.

Minimum of five years of experience in logistic operations within a healthcare supply chain. APICS certification preferred, valid driver’s license required.

Any combination of education, training and experience that has supplied the necessary knowledge, skills, and experience to perform the essential functions of the job to work in a strong team environment and interact with individuals at all levels of the organization and customers in a helpful, courteous, and friendly manner.
