Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: planning and executing statewide media campaigns; working closely with content experts; leading the strategic creative process to address substance use disorder topics pertaining to prevention, treatment and recovery; working collaboratively with internal and external partners and stakeholders; designing, writing, developing and editing campaign materials for various formats; developing marketing strategies; ensuring translation of materials to Spanish; overseeing contracts with advertising agencies and media buyers; and analyzing effectiveness of campaigns.
